Skinner Ranches

Skinner Ranches home rests just outside of Jordan Valley, Oregon and has been passed down the Skinner family line for generations.
This project, incorporates pictures of some of the ranch horses that graze the land of Skinner Ranches as well as some sale photos of some of the top-notch horses that have been taken to ranchers sales.
A particular horse you can notice in these photos is a sorrel horse with a bridle and bit in his mouth, Jack. I was asked by the Skinner Family to take some photos of Jack for a Christmas present during one of my visits. He was the number one man in the herd and had a special place in the Skinner Family's heart. Sadly, a week after I had taken these photos he broke his leg in a freak accident and had to be put to rest. He is now grazing in God's pastures waiting for the arrival of the family that loved him so dearly, these pictures turned out to be very special after such a tragic accident.
